Ned Savage, KA4BLL - President

Ned Savage, KA4BLL (Extra Class),has been a licensed operator since early 1978.  Ned first joined Delta club in 1989 and became a Delta Club Life Member about 1992.  Ned has served in the club as Director of Meetings & Special Events and Treasurer in the 1990s.  He also became an ARRL Life Member in 1995 and then served as ARRL's Emergency Coordinator for Shelby County from 1996 to 2002, and served briefly as TN District 1 EC during 2002.  Ned also has offered his knowledge of the hobby to help as an Elmer, and is an active member of the VE Team.  Contact Ned via e-mail by clicking here.

Tommy Thompson, KD4TJO - Secretary

Tommy obtained his first ticket in 1992 and immediately became involved in DARC.  He has served as Secretary of the club in 1995, Vice President in 1996 and President in 1997, Past President in 1998, Director of Publications in 1999 and Secretary again in 2000.  Tommy currently holds a General class license and has special interests in packet, public service and also serves as the Amateur Radio Coordinator for the Mid-South Skywarn Program. He is also a control operator/programmer for the W4BS repeaters and is currently the manager of the 146.82 repeater. You may e-mail Tommy direct from here.
 

Tom Richardson - Director of Training

Tom was first licensed as KN4TTA in 1960 and upgraded to General within the year. He upgraded to Advanced in 1969. Tom's amateur radio interests are HF, DX, DXCC, contesting, antenna design and construction and public service operating. He essentially got out of the hobby in 1978 and returned in 1998 and had things ever changed!!! Tom is a Psychological Examiner in private practice.  He has taught at Rhodes College and Middle Tennessee State University and spent five years in a reform school (as Director of Treatment Services!!!) He is married to a very patient XYL (Cornelia) for the past 30 years and have 3 grown sons. He teaches the Senior High Sunday School Class at Ellendale United Methodist Church.  Other interests outside of amateur radio are Newfoundland Dog rescue and golf.  You may e-mail Tom direct from here.

Thomas (Tom) E. McLemore, KG4EOV - Director of Meetings and Special Events

Tom Mclemore has been a member of Delta Club since 1999, shortly after obtaining his Technician class license.  Tom is looking forward to upgrading and working some good DX.  Tom is a semi-retired physician and likes to travel with his wife, Kathryn.  They have 3 grown children.  Some of Tom's other interests include golf, photography, music and electronics.  He has even tried his hand at some radio control modeling.  If you would like to contact Tom directly you can email him here.
