Silent Keys

This page is dedicated to former Delta Club Members that are now Silent Keys

Jim Olberding, WD8JAO (SK)

Jim became a silent key on June 21, 2013

A memorial service was held at the Bartlett Event Center on June 26th from 6-8 pm to celebrate his life. There will be no funeral service as Jim donated his body to UT Medical School

Jim was an active member of Delta Club for many, many years as was his wife Jeanette, KC4VYJ who became a silent key just last December. One of the things Jim liked to do most in the club was to work the Bartlett Christmas Parade and then have all the volunteer radio operators over to their home for some warm food and drinks.

Bob Holdford, KF4NDH (SK)

We have lost an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Delta Club member and ham radio operator.
Bob became a Silent Key on 06/11/13 after a brief illness. We will miss him dearly as he was active in many different aspects of the club, including serving on the board of directors several years ago.
Bob was always very active in public service events, either by helping with amateur communications or by participating in the event.

Please keep his wife, Juanita and all of his children, grandchildren and other family members in your thoughts and prayers as they cope with Bob's passing.
